Two operating ranges, 60–500 RPM and 500–4,500 RPM, allow operators to select appropriate cutting speeds for different materials, cutting tools, and machining requirements.

The spacious 10″ x 50″ worktable provides room for larger workpieces, machine vises, and workholding fixtures. With 29-7/8″ of longitudinal table travel, 14-3/4″ of cross travel, and 16-1/8″ of knee travel, the machine accommodates a variety of machining setups and workpiece sizes.

The R-8 spindle taper accepts a wide range of commonly available milling collets, end mill holders, and other machining accessories. Its 5″ spindle travel and three quill power downfeed rates provide additional versatility for precision drilling and boring operations.
